Sir/Madam,
To sustain the quality brains of our nation, it is high time for the stake-holders at all the levels to restructure the various dimensions of the Higher Education System viz. curriculum, pedagogy and evaluation. With a view to addressing the crucial issues and concerns of Higher Education, V.T. Choksi Sarvajanik College of Education, Surat and Faculty of Education, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat is organizing a Three-day International Seminar on :
“Higher Education in the Year-2020” from 21-23 January, 2012.
Its our great pleasure to invite you for this International Seminar to be organized in VNSGU campus on 21-23 January, 2012. Please inform to your staff members and academic friends to join. We request you to contribute for this seminar.
Objectives :
- To address the issues and concerns related to Higher Education.
- To contribute to the Knowledge Society.
- To envisage futuristic perspective of Higher Education.
- To discuss and collaborate the intra-national and international model of Higher Education.
- To innovate the new techno-pedagogical instructional practices.

- India vision 2020 for Higher Education.
- Higher Education for sustainable Development.
- Increasing GER (Gross Enrolment Ration) in Higher Education.
- ICT and Innovation in Higher Education.
- Marketing of Higher Education.
- Challenges in Higher Education.
- Women in Higher Education.
- Privatization in Higher Education.
- Globalization in Higher Education.

Call For Papers :
Paper should be typed in Times New Roman with size of 12 for normal text, size of 14 for Title with 1.5 line space on one side of A/4 paper. Gujarati and Hindi papers should be sent in PDF file only.
- Length of the Paper should not exceed 8 pages.
- Contribution must be original and may be in English/Hindi/Gujarati.
- Paper should be submitted on or before 24-12-2011 to Convener/Co-convener
- A soft copy of paper should be sent to Dr. Ummed Singh (singh.ummed@gmail.com)
Papers submitted to the seminar will be reviewed by the Panel of Experts and acceptance of paper for presentation will be intimated to the first author only by e-mail on or before 31st Dec., 2011. In final selection, preference will be given to Quality Research papers.
- Spot registration is permitted without paper presentation as an Observer only.
- Participants must attend all three days of the seminar otherwise attendance certificate will not be issued.
- No TA/DA will be given to any participants. You have to make your own arrangement.

FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE GOING TO PRESENT PAPERS WILL BE TREATED AS OUR GUESTS AND THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEE.
Hostel accommodation will be provided free of cost if informed in advance. Hotel accommodation may be arranged on request and on advance payment.
